Nov 22, 2024
Even in death, the secrets of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein and his infamous private island remain tightly guarded. But in 2024 WIRED conducted an investigation uncovering the data of mobile devices belonging to almost 200 of his visitors. How strong was the data? So precise that we followed visitor's movements to and from Epstein Island to within centimeterstracking their countries, neighborhoods, and even buildings of origin. This is Epstein Islands Secret Data: On The Grid.

(15,939 posts)..."On one of Levins trips to New York in 1989, Wexner asked him to meet a brilliant young financier who wanted to pitch an investment opportunity.
Levin had never heard of the man, Jeffrey Epstein, which was odd. After working for Wexner for seven years, Levin knew virtually every player on Wall Street (a few months earlier, Levin says, he met with arbitrageur Ivan Boesky). Levins skepticism was confirmed as soon as he arrived at Epsteins Madison Avenue office. There were no visible signs of a trading operation; just Epstein sitting behind a desk that didnt even have a computer. Epstein was trying to explain a currency trade he wanted to do. I have an MBA from Ohio State, and I didnt understand a word the man said, Levin recalled. Levin went back to Columbus and reported that Epstein was a fraud. I told Les, Stay away from him, Levin remembered. Wexner agreed not to do the trade.
Levin was shocked when Epstein showed up in Columbus a few months later and announced Wexner had put him in charge of his finances. Levin tried to protest but says Wexner wouldnt take his calls. Levin couldnt stand having Epstein as a boss. He was an asshole. The most arrogant person I ever met, Levin recalled. A few months later, Levin quit.
Levin said Epstein taunted him on his way out. On my last day, Epstein walked into my office and held up a piece of paper. He bragged that Les had given him power of attorney over his money. I worked for Les for seven years and I never had general power of attorney, Levin said. Epstein, Levin continued, even ordered him to surrender equity in Wexners town project, likely costing Levin millions. Epstein basically said, If you want, you can fight it out, but I have a lot of lawyers and Ill make sure itll cost you a fortune. ....(more)

What was going on at Epstein's ranch in New Mexico???

(1 post)I know what went on during the construction of Zorro Ranch and it was anything but normal. Not sure I can still wrap my head around everything but in looking back at what transpired more and more comes into focus. Recalling this experience, because it transpired over 2+ years, would be difficult to convey, however
he did bring different young girls there even during construction. The ranch was a beautifully designed compound with very unique features. Some tasteful some that made you wonder WTF.
This was a sick man.
Im assuming my NDA is irrelevant since the information is now public.

(1,892 posts)Curious about some heavy truck loads that made their way from Zorro Ranch south
into Mexico. Did not appear to return by the same route...
Some have reported concerns that human trafficking was not all that Epstein used to
fund his lavish lifestyle... I have not been able to document ownership of any property
owned by his estate in Mexico, but have not researched all of the many entities he created.
Also looking for details on "C.O.U.Q."...
May be worth something to have your NDA reviewed by expert counsel not party to these
issues... .

That kind of negativity drives me nuts. If no one ever did anything about a problem until and unless they were 100% sure of getting a certain desired effect, nothing would ever get better!
Sometimes you have to do the right thing simply because you know it's the right thing to do, not because the outcome is assured.
Justice matters.
(8,645 posts)MAGA and Republicans never ask why Ghislaine Maxwell is still alive ... the answer is she probably has duplicates of the list and videos and audio of hundreds of influential people with friends and lawyers stored in safety deposit boxes a few Dems know about (it's called her life insurance policy).

(6,059 posts)Epstein is dead so can't prosecute him. Maxwell already convicted and in prison, so that case is over. There's never been any indication that anyone else related to Epstein was ever under investigation and in danger of being charged. The "Case" is long since completed.
If Maxwell were going to be pardoned, it would have happened already. It's not going to happen.
There was never any chance of Trump receiving legal repercussions from this, no matter how knee-deep he is on the "list". As this video suggest, Trump had no contact with Epstein for a long time (I believe their "falling out" occurred before Epstein's initial plea deal back in 2008. Any illegal activity Trump may have engaged in, even if can be proven, is likely well past the statute of limitations.
I'm not concerned about Trump suffering legal repercussions, I just want the full evidence against him to come out. That will destroy him even though he can stay out of jail. It would also open him up to more massive civil lawsuits from victims.
gab13by13
(28,869 posts)The evidence is out there.
There were witnesses who saw Krasnov rape 2 little girls. One of the girls went to Gloria Allred to take Krasnov to court but she got so many death threats she backed out. Someone should ask Allred if she had a good case, there was a witness.
The other little girl, Maria, disappeared.
Krasnov took 7 flights on the Lolita Express, a pilot even verified Krasnov being on one of his flights. isn't that evidence?
Wiz Imp
(6,059 posts)Some states have no statute of limitations for child victims of sexual assault. Others have very long statutes of limitations
A pilot witnessing Trump on a flight is only evidence of Trump being on a flight. It is not remotely evidence of a crime.
The lawsuits against Trump were Civil lawsuits, not Criminal ones.
I'll remind you I said if full evidence against Trump were to come out : "It would also open him up to more massive civil lawsuits from victims."
It remains highly unlikely there would ever be an attempt at a criminal prosecution, however.

(970 posts)Epstein was set up to be a supplier of young girls for wealthy men to use and abuse. That would take money. They would of course want luxury and privacy, and the victims would have to be threatened and or paid off to keep quiet.
FakeNoose
(37,900 posts)... and he might have initially done that, as a way to meet and influence extremely wealthy men.
But his real source of income was blackmail and kompromat. Epstein's IRS income statements could never explain how he was able to buy islands and mansions all around the world. He never declared 90% of his real wealth because it was all off the books.
appmanga
(1,212 posts)...has speculated that Epstein was a Mossad operative, and his brief was to integrate himself into the circles of the American politically powerful and very rich for the reasons you outlined. This may not makes sense to some, (and I say this agnostically) but many people don't realize the amount of spying Israel does in this country. The amount of influence operations conducted in this country by Israel are numerous, and their existence should hold no surprise to even the average consumer of news.

(8,645 posts)The Epstein files the idiotic convicted felon now claims were all made up by Obama (tm) you know the guy who made fun of him in public (it was just a joke) and who he wants to destroy every single good thing he did for the people.
Wait a minute... his stupid gullible cultists say the Clintons are in the list (tm)? Why would Obama make up stuff about them, stupids?? And if that was not another covering-his-own-guilt lie, that would mean he is actually PROTECTING the Clintons by saying there is no Epstein Client List (tm).

(11,875 posts)These creepy old men decided they really wanted to screw little girls, against their will, from poorer families illegally and abusively. Don't they have other things to do? Why was that such a common desire for old, creepy filthy-rich men?
Why do they think f*cking little girls is worth their reputations, large amounts of wealth, losing the respect of their families and friends, and a haunted conscience.....well at least some of them would have a conscience because there were so many of them.
I just don't see the appeal. What is wrong with the "upper class" ????? Something is seriously broken among them.
