MAGA Rep. THROWN OUT Of Own Event By FURIOUS Protesters - Really American
Really American Host Kenny Hesse breaks down MAGA Congresswoman Elise Stefanik getting BOOED and JEERED Offstage TWICE by an angry crowd of protesters at an event in her own District 21 in Plattsburgh, New York.
A group of protesters met North Country Rep. Elise Stefanik with boos and jeers during a ceremony in Plattsburgh to honor the late John Zurlo.
Stefanik (R-NY), who represents the 21st congressional district and is a staunch supporter of Donald Trump, was in attendance for a renaming ceremony at the Clinton County Government Center along with other local politicians including Assemblyman Billy Jones and Zurlo's family on Monday morning.
Protesters booed Stefanik both times she went to the podium to speak. There was a call for Stefanik to hold a town hall that echoed through the crowd, even when local speakers took their turns at the podium.
"Well, Elise has not shown up in our district for months and months," said protester Mavis Agnew. "She won't hold a town hall, she won't take questions. She's never in her office. People show up at her office constantly, door's closed. Her representatives, her employees won't talk to her... So this was her first appearance, the first opportunity we had to let her know we're unhappy."
Activist groups, including one called Show Up, organized the demonstration.
"I don't think this is about Democrats versus Republicans or anything," said Jesse Murnane, another protester. "We're all represented by Stefanik. We're all here represented by Stefanik. And with the recent cuts that have just been passed, we're all going to be affected by rural hospitals. Hudson Headwaters potentially being affected, our only clinics available to patients. And the protesters are sure right (this took place in a county north of me) that Stefanik hides her movements and the only town halls she's had in ages were conducted over the phone - where she blocked those who asked questions she didn't like or who disagreed with her (which is pretty much everyone I know!). 
And I sure stand with the protesters!
Poor Stuffie Stephie, no one loves her anymore. 
I loved that this happened to her.

I'm a constituent in what's now Stefanik's district and she continues to be inexplicably returned to office, though pretty much everyone I know feels the same way as those protesters from up north!
