Redistricting as in Texas won't hurt our midterms much

Says Nate Cohen

Our advantages are far more than three districts in TX. We are better positioned than when we won 40 seats in 2018. We won the 2022 mid terms despite getting fewer votes. Obviously three, or five, seats make things harder, but nowhere near 2022. Of course losing the working class and almost half of Hispanics is much more serious.

Lost our slim margin on the house side, but the predicted and expected large loss never happened. It was a surprise. We did lose the popular vote, which should have been a wake up call.

We have the RIGHT working class voters. Black and Latina women.

If you are talking working class white men - the majority of those are crossed with misogyny, racism, anti Christian, anti LGBTQI core beliefs. Its their identity. They are bound to their identity's politics.

The Hispanic population that was lost? High Holy Catholics. Cubans. Venezuelans.

Georgia is about to cancel 477,000+ voter registrations this week

^How many other Democratic base are getting thrown off the rolls? Shelby v Holder. We told folks this - we told them this in 2016.^

We have a shot to rain hell upon the magapub party. It's in 2026. We must dominate them. Blue States Redistricting is where it's at.

That's all the magapub voter understands. It's their culture. Dominance, inflicting pain on innocents, cruelty - is the point.

White working class male voters have been voting Republican since at latest 1994. The majority (not all) will always believe someone got something they didn't that they were SUPPOSED to get because they are white Christian straight men. They don't care about issues - they care about how they FEEL. They care about their identity and nothing else.

other than white. The working class is larger than any minority or sex or interest group. The multi racial working class is 59% of voters and all of us have a common interest in higher wages and a more secure life for us and our families. Attempts to divide us are not a winning strategy.

Those white men only want better wages for themselves.

Let's be clear - their votes in 2016, 2020, and 2024 are a clear loud statement about what they are.

They will always turn bigot.
They will always turn against non-white people.
They will always turn against anyone not like them.

Just remember, the I Am A Man campaign occurred because white garbage truck drivers didn't want black men in their Union. It lead to MLK's death.

Majority Minority.

Taxation without Representation. We fought a Revolution over that.

Nate Cohen has his head in the sand. If it's in the NY Times - remember all.of their malfeasance the past 10 years.
