(7,295 posts)7. Mine shows in "pending" but has already been earmarked.
Several of us old ladies here in the village have adopted a family with 40 something Dad out of work and Mom recently passed away after a long illness. Earlier in the month we talked him into opening an account at the local credit union specifically so we could make deposits to it whenever we can. Mine will go there.
It's practical and serves the purpose of the "stimulus". In my bank account it just sits there. I have everything I need. For this family, all the money will go back into the economy in reasonably short order.
Actually, it would be more truthful to say this family kindly adopted some widowed ladies who don't have any kids or grandkids.

IRS website has a link to add direct deposit info for those who did not file in 2018 or 2019.

You may find the IRS doesn't have it. ... They might, but might not also.

SSDI stimulus checks will be automatically deposited in the same account your SSDI check goes to

Read this morning that SSDI people that don't have to file taxes won't get theirs until next week
