I just don't want anyone who posts here to think I'm doing a "I'm more virtuous than you" bullshit. It's not that. It's that I have the genuine good fortune to be able to give this away.
A very large percentage of those who get this money need it desperately to pay the rent or buy food, and I get that. I have in the past been poor enough that an occasional free meal was a huge help in my budget. I went hungry more than once growing up, and I only got desperately needed dental work when I was a teen thanks to a specific Catholic charity dental clinic in Tucson. So yeah, I've been there. Which is why giving this money away as soon as it hit my checking account is incredibly easy. Others need it a lot more than I do.

IRS website has a link to add direct deposit info for those who did not file in 2018 or 2019.

SSDI stimulus checks will be automatically deposited in the same account your SSDI check goes to

Read this morning that SSDI people that don't have to file taxes won't get theirs until next week
