You and see a man of immense privilege who can't even stand up to the slightest scrutiny without whining like a pathetic loser.

His followers see a man "standing up to the elites" and pushing back.

It is pretty ridiculous that the "most powerful man in the world" would be such a whiny complainer, but Right wingers have been conditioned to believe that they are under constant threat. It is really sick. Unless they receive full deference to their world view, they feel and claim to be oppressed.
