as I think he'd most likely win. MI is light blue but still difficult to win as it has turned redder over the past decade. Thus we need a strong candidate and I think he'd easily win.

However, as we've seen over and over, president is simply ... different. The swing voters (and even many Dems I'm afraid) won't vote for a gay man for president, even if they may for other offices. I don't think a woman could win either at this point. They somehow believe a gay man or woman can't deal with the likes of Putin and Xi.

Basically (yep, you guessed it) we need to nominate a macho cis het xtian family man for the top of the ticket. White or black. Someone like Mark Kelly, Roy Cooper or Wes Moore.
