A segment on MSNBC's Alex Witt show just now had a guest/legal expert (sorry, I didn't catch her name) saying that "this was a lawful arrest" of the immigrant and that the judge was wrong in interfering. I had a sinking feeling listening to her defend the arrest that she was glossing over something in order to "both sides" the situation and overall soft-pedal the actions of the criminal administration. She did say that the judge shouldn't have been arrested the way she was but should have been allowed to turn herself in.
MSNBC...I dunno these days.

My guess is that it refers to the fact that prominent Dems ARE saying it, but it gets drowned out.
