more. Also, we never know another person’s circumstances. The family I see smiling at the beach here may be recovering from a death in the family or a serious medical diagnosis. They may even be directly affected by these events and trying to get a moment of normalcy in the midst of suffering. Or they may be working to give their children some semblance of normalcy in the midst of a crisis.

We never know.
