General Discussion

Trump is somewhat similar to ‘The Mule’ in Asimov’s “Second Foundation”. The Mule is a mutant, not anticipated in Hari Seldon’s psychohistory, and is therefore able to dominate all the planets in the galaxy through malign manipulation. Trump is similar, as he is a person so horrifically out-of-the-norm evil that the usual constraints within a society have no effect on curbing his limitless greed and destructiveness. Stopping him is even harder due to the many amoral people around him who profit from his onslaught on our country. It is possible, however, that at some point he will do enough damage that even those who are currently profiting will see him as a liability, and something will be done. Otherwise, we will have to wait until nature takes its course on this person.
