They ~~want~~ need everything and can't stand that the world will go on after they are dust.

Paralyzing fear of the inevitable, insatiable greed, and the emptiness of bodies without souls makes them hell bent on using the whole earth up so they can buy more toys that never make them happy.

It's a mental illness and it will cost us all everything this beautiful planet has offered us for the lifespan of all species on earth.
