(359 posts)It feels like the middle class is a ripe fruit they've been waiting to pick, with so much money for them to acquire.
As I understand one theory, it used to be that the middle class was a buffer between the rich and the poor. The middle class was trained to blame the poor, so the wealthy could basically let them do their dirty work of oppression and class warfare.
But now I guess the agenda has changed, because they're attacking the middle class. It's already shrunk below 50% of the country. Everything they're doing pushes down the middle, along with the poor.
Maybe it's not tiny enough for them, because the middle class has just enough money and influence to give them trouble? I'm worried what they're planning, that they don't want a citizenry that can push back, if there's anything to that thought.
It's such a great question you asked, and I'm going to read what everyone else thinks.
