American Indian Studies in Wisconsin (often referred as Wisconsin Act 31) refers to the requirement that all public school districts and pre-service education program provide instruction on the history, culture, and tribal sovereignty of Wisconsins eleven federally-recognized American Indian nations and tribal communities.
Similar legislation exists in Montana, Minnesota, Maine, Washington, Arizona & I think Oklahoma.
I will add more on this later.
