Tuesday

I have some immigrant neighbors.
I used to walk with them for exercise and go out to lunch for fun.

They no longer show their faces outside.
They won't even answer my texts.

They are too afraid.

I also know a naturalized US citizen, she has been here since she was a toddler.
The state dept won't renew her passport with one excuse after another.
This is a person with an unblemished record and works in healthcare.
Now she is not allowed to travel outside the country.
