4. A totally contrived story by the Republican-leaning Boston Herald.

They're trying to drum up discord among the Dems and make it into a story. This is the first I've heard of any of those folks aiming for the Senate (aside from one non-denial by Auchincloss), and I live in MA. But I read the center/left Boston Globe daily, so my view of reality might be a bit more, well, realistic.
