Accepting a pardon could make it potentially harder for her to plead the fifth amendment for those charges if they are the same or very similar charges. And unlike federal courts, many states allow cameras in court. A pardon could bring the case into a new light that the Wizard of Ooze wouldn't like.

It may also allow her to write and profit from a book about what she knows without fear of further prosecution under federal law.

I bet he likes her exactly where she is....
