It's fascinating that I responded in good faith, but the OP wasn't interested in that, so several needless replies happened.
I'm adding this here to note the most recent comment and because the OP demonstrates similar antagonist behavior on this forum in general.
But the real question is who were you trying to help? My question was about Stephen Colbert. Your response didnt mention Colbert at all. It just said:
Obviously, I was responding to the community here in the thread.
Your question wasn't about "Colbert." Your question was literally "has Bill Maher said anything about Colbert's cancellation?"
I gave context from what I knew. That's it.. and then you threw a tantrum and all of a sudden.. to you - I'm a Maher fan.
I am "defending" Maher for making a point. Do you hear yourself?
And then you asked why I kept replying, with no sense of irony in that you keep asking questions....
I've been on this forum for 20 years and have had great conversations. I have never had been involved in such disingenuous bullshit on this site until this post or someone that with such juvenile love for fighting on a forum for no reason. Oh I'm sure you'll be back and puke the same bad faith script, but you really need to step back and reflect. Do better.

There's always been something I found off-putting about Maher. There's a nasty man.

I just think it's his demeanor. I don't like it. And I think he's truly a sexist and a pretty awful one.

He's had personal animus towards Stephen for years, said his network success was due

As much as I dispise Maher, I would be very surprised if he didn't defend Colbert, and call out CBS.
