No, absolutely not. This is asinine. I've commented on say sports games where I didn't care about the team, but was simply pointing something out. Jesus.

So are you now saying that Maher doesn’t consistently defend comedians?

I made a comment that he did. You know that. I'm not sure why you are trying to make something of this.

And if you’re not being defensive, why do you keep replying?

Replying to comments is not "defensive." That's how forums work.
