I chose to jump in with what context I knew
If you dont monitor Maher how do you even know the context is correct?
I simply replied because he doesn't seem to comment outside his projects or interviews on things.
And
However, he usually doesn't post random comments on social media, it's usually related to show or tour schedules or adjacent jokes.
That seems to be rather specific information about someone you dont monitor habits.
Because I've followed many media outlets for decades. I don't that I'm unique on that front.
No youre not but you seem to know a lot about Mahers past statements and habits. Why not just say something like Havent seen him comment on any of the the media outlets I follow and move on. Why go out of your way to say Maher has been consistent in defending comedians.
I've commented on say sports games where I didn't care about the team, but was simply pointing something out.
Ok, what were you trying to point out? What was the point of your statement that

when hes been completely silent about Colbert? Which doesnt seem very consistent. Edit history

There's always been something I found off-putting about Maher. There's a nasty man.

I just think it's his demeanor. I don't like it. And I think he's truly a sexist and a pretty awful one.

As much as I dispise Maher, I would be very surprised if he didn't defend Colbert, and call out CBS.
