It might have even been posted on DU a day or two ago. But she was asked when she called in if it would bother her if Trump turned out to be a pedophile, and her response was basically what I wrote in my subject line.

And, I think this was last year during the election, various Republicans said that it didn't bother them that Trump wants to have sex with Ivanka because "all dads feel that way." I'm not kidding. I'm too lazy to look either of these up for links, but it was there, in black and white.

I think Trump's major objection to all of this is that he'd rather have the news media talking about how he's the greatest president since Lincoln, and better than Lincoln, many people are saying.

He knows what he did. He's been OK with it for decades. He's just going through the "How DARE YOU" phase because even before John Roberts anointed him as the Christ child, he's always believed that laws are for others, and if people don't give him money, don't give him sex, or don't praise him, they're not worth his time.
