First, they fired Maurene Comey, who helped prosecute Maxwell. That was the shot across the bow. If there’s anyone still in DOJ who wants to publicly or officially oppose Trump, and if they want to remain employed, they’ll stay quiet.

Second, we know that Todd Blanche (Trump’s former defense attorney) who is now Deputy AG, is going to meet with Maxwell. He’ll dangle the pardon if she agrees to play along and clear Trump’s name. She will.

Third, they’ll cite Maxwell as “Epstein’s closest confidant and associate” clearing Trump. They’ll do this over and over and over.

Fourth, If any part of the files do come out, they’ll have Trump’s name removed from the most incriminating parts (we already know of the 1,000 FBI personnel working on this, per Sen. Durbin). And the WH will keep saying: Maxwell said he didn’t do anything, over and over and over.

That will become the new narrative.

This is very close to how they muddied the waters on the Mueller report.

And it worked.
