Generalizations usually are wrong, and very often unjustly attack by vague innuendo. Let’s all go kill “the rich” because we’re jealous of their success. Never mind that a great many of Nantucket’s well-off are friends of the Democrats and give us a LOT of money. If parades of Clintons, Obamas, and Democratic Senators, Congresspeople and Governors go to Nantucket every summer, it’s not to look at real estate or hang with “prissy” people. It’s to ask for financial support in a place in Massachusetts with a concentration of people s are well-off AND share our views. Yeah, there are a few rich Republicans, too. You’ll also find Democrats in Idaho and Oklahoma. That doesn’t make Idaho or Oklahoma bastions of progressivism any more than a couple of disgusting Republicans make the rest of Nantucket “prissy” wealthy spoiled people. If ICE sent a brigade there, it wasn’t in order to arrest people working for Republican hotshots.
