- Evacuations in Hawaii
- Pics of Kamchatka Earthquake

Update 6:34 PST. Changed to Tsunami Advisory.
- Japan advising to evacuate vulnerable areas
- West coast impacts expected to be minor. Will hit around 11:59 during low tide. 1-3 ft wave heights.
- Crescent City California most at risk on the west coast.
- Lots of aftershocks - 6.9, 6.3.
- Earthquake upgraded to 8.8

At 425 PM Pacific Daylight Time on July 29 an earthquake with preliminary magnitude 8.7 occurred 80 miles southeast of
Petropavlovsk Kamchatka.
