Warnings are being canceled, things should be back to normal later today. No damage or injuries reported in Hawaii or Cali.

The epicentre was located 136 kilometres east-southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, a city in Russia's Far East.

i remember the 7.7 earlier in russia and commented that the strees from that had to go somewhere and here it is .

The city was destroyed by a tsunami in 1952. It was rebuilt in a higher location. The port is on the ocean.
