There was an historic vote tonight in the Senate on Bernie Sanders resolutions to block 1000-pound bombs and assault rif [View all]

. 27 Senators voted against rifles and 24 againt the bombs. That represents the marjority of Democrats in the Senate, plus the ranking members of the foreign relations, armed services, judiciary and appropriating committees! The first time Sanders called a similar vote, we had 19 senators; the second time it went down to 15 because of AIPAC pressure. So 27 is a huge step forward. Big thanks to Bernie Sanders, and to all of you who pressured your senators. The tide is turning. AIPAC is losing its iron grip! Let's thank those who voted yes; shame the Democrats who voted no and shame ALL the Republicans--not even @SenatorRandPaul voted to cut off these weapons. And let's keep pushing until we can actually stop sending weapons to Israel!!!
