55. I don't like the Christian bashing on here either despite being pretty much atheist myself, but

in our society overall, there is far more hatred directed by people calling themselves Christians towards non-Christians and non religious people overall.

I'm only just catching up on the news since I've been busy with other things today, but if this guy was outspokenly anti-Christian, in our current political environment, I expect this event will be used as a cudgel against the non-religious and against "liberals" who get accused by the religious right of all being atheist. I expect this will be exploited politically in some really ugly ways.
