Without mentioning that supposed quote by Stalin. "It's not who votes that counts it's who counts the votes." But it turns out this was not the real quote.

In my search for the real quote, the closest I got to it was this from PolitiFact:

"In memoirs written after his retirement, Boris Bazhanov, Stalin’s former personal secretary, claimed that Stalin said: "Я считаю, что совершенно неважно, кто и как будет в партии голосовать; но вот что чрезвычайно важно, это кто и как будет считать голоса." It translates to: "I regard it as completely unimportant who in the party will vote and how, but it is extremely important who will count the votes and how.""

Seems that other quote, and several others I thought were real, were made up on Facebook.

It's interesting that in this statement it takes into account HOW people vote and HOW votes are counted. I always knew the voting machines were a scam to rig the elections.
