35. Red states have been lowering the age of consent and marriage

for exactly the diabolical predatory reasons you can imagine. Just look at the many GOP with massive age gap marriages including press secretary Karoline Leavitt and Tennessee US Congressman John Rose. If you start doing the math of when John Rose met his now wife Chelsea, you're going to feel very uncomfortable. The word "grooming" comes to mind.
