The majority of prostitutes have long histories of abuse, neglect, human-trafficking, and drug and alcohol use (also sometimes forced on them). Very few people choose prostitution, they get into it from being coerced or from being so desperate for money it seems like the best or only option. Pimps traffic women and children, neither of which have agency under the pimp system. Adult prostitutes are also raped, violated, and abused. You think all prostitutes are Stormy Daniels and Sydney Biddle Barrows, or even Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman?
