65. I admire the sentiment, but I don't want to get too hung up on the wording.

Thursday

I also don’t want to get lost in the weeds looking for a feel-good term for it. Otherwise I’ll end up sounding like the “homicide bomber” and “freedom fries” crowd.

At least they’re calling them what they are: Children. (Not “underage women.”)
And they’re describing the job they’re being made to do: Prostitution.(Not “masseuses” or “towel girls” or by god “comfort women.”)

Child Prostitute. It’s an ugly term, but it works for me. Today.
