However, the "interpretation" being presented (that the FBI will definitely redact out all mentions of Republicans) is misleading at best. The guy says in his message to DOJ that everything he said was his own opinion and based on what he's hear in the media and he didn't reveal anything he learned at work. That means nobody at the DOJ explicitly said they would redact out all Republicans, just that he figures that is what they will do. Of course that opinion could be based on what he has gleaned from his co-workers and colleagues at the DOJ.
