In reply to the discussion: There is NO such thing as "CHILD PROSTITUTES". That term implies [View all]As of late 2020, at least 19 states allowed children to be charged with prostitution, but this information has changed due to subsequent legislation. Federal law considers minors in prostitution to be victims of sex trafficking, but state laws and their "Safe Harbor" provisions vary in how they treat them.
States that have been cited for allowing juvenile prostitution charges
In late 2020, a Sinclair Broadcast Group report identified the following states as having laws that allowed minors to be charged with prostitution, but some of these laws may have since changed:
