They weren't hiring anyone nor collecting much if any profit beyond drugs. I understand many codependent boyfriends get charged as pimps nowadays. And I am aware of the class shift where a cohort of sexworkers origionate from the upper middleclass have some agency and may very well not be pimped. But lets not assume any 12, 13 or 14 year old girl is exercising that kind of agency.
