The expiration of these credits is something that is going to tangibly harm a lot of middle class voters.

The difference with some of their other cuts is that this would start hurting immediately, the pain isn’t delayed or spread over years.

I think denying Democratic votes to any funding measure that extends over 12/31 is a good line in the sand to draw.
