"Not-Trump's-Signature-Gate" reminds me of Vanilla Ice explaining how he didn't rip off Queen with "Ice Ice Baby." [View all]
This may be a bit of a dated reference for younger DUers, but Vanilla Ice was once interviewed on MTV about "lifting" Queen's "Under Pressure" riff for "Ice Ice Baby."
Ice...real name Robbie Van Winkle...calmly explained "NO...THEIR song goes "da da da, da da da da..." (HUMMING), and ours goes "da da da, da da da da" (HUMMING AGAIN).
And, as you might imagine, both hums were identical. But don't take my word for it:
So to have people like Byron Donalds out there saying:
“From what I see, it’s not his signature,” Donalds told reporters. “I’ve seen Donald Trump sign a million things.”
...all I can do is echo Colonel Sherman Potter on M*A*S*H and say "HORSE HOCKEY."
