What are his bona fides? The oligarchs are well aware that the GOP brand is in the shitter. They may be sending wolves in sheep’s clothing, infiltrating the party. We already know there is a sizable number of Ds in office now who are politically further to the right of a typical 1970s GOPer.

We all need to do a more intensive background check of all our candidates and nominees. Just having a D after one’s name isn’t sufficient.
