Trump threatens to come after liberals over the Charlie Kirk murder. [View all]

In a video address from the Oval Office, Mr. Trump said that liberal criticism of conservatives was “directly responsible for the terrorism that we’re seeing in our country today, and it must stop right now.”

“My administration will find each and every one of those who contributed to this atrocity and to other political violence, including the organizations that fund it and support it, as well as those who go after our judges, law enforcement officials and everyone else who brings order to our country,” he said.

He went on to list the Republicans (including himself) who've been victims reaching all the way back to the 2017 attack on Scalise and even saying some ice agents. All the while ignoring the murders of Hortman and her husband who were shot dead in their home just in June of this year, or of Pelosi's husbands beating or of Gabby Giffords shooting. It was all about Republicans only.

Ultimately this will come back to haunt them I suspect. He just keeps fueling his hate machine more and more and I fear there will be an ultimate reckoning eventually and it's not just going to be his desire to see those who don't align with him being murdered. There's a lot of hate, anger and mental instability out there which his words feed like logs on a fire.

We're in such dark days now. It makes my heart sad to see us reduced to this as a nation.
