17. When I lived in New Mexico, there were Hispanic wanna-be skinheads.

They were shocked when told that real skinheads were down on Hispanics.

(Just one of my hundreds of New Mexico “you won’t believe this” stories that I bored people with for years after I escaped to AZ.)
