29. The logic I am seeing reminds me of that used against Obama

They claimed he wasn’t born in the United States. They demanded he produce a Birth Certificate. Why? To cause distrust.

I doubt that she could satisfy the Trump administration. History says they will move the goalposts. Why? To cause distrust.

Trump is trying to take over the Fed. This is the first salvo.
I suspect Cook is fighting this larger battle. Imagine being in or associated with a government position and knowing MAGA is climbing through all of your personal date to harm you. I would fight every step with every tool available.

Pulte claimed he was investigating her based on information he was given. He is not investigating Ken Paxton or members of the Trump administration with the exact issue being cited to fire her. These problems have been publicly reported. I’ve seen him interviewed. Claimed he hadn’t received any tips on those folks. So what is a reliable tip?
