It seems many "adults" are scared traumatized children PRETENDING to be adults.
In the case of Maga's, often desperately yearning to belong to a "strong" group that claims to care about them. And within which they can disappear and just be part of the crowd - with no agency or thought.

Boys play-acting at being men by being loud, aggressive, having loud cars, responding with rage to many interactions, plus many other un-wise behaviors.
Same for women, but manifests a bit differently.

Preface : I almost never mention anybody's appearance. But this was "striking".
I was at the gym as Ms. Kirks image was on the big TV's in front of me. I looked up, saw the split screen with a fox "host" on the left, and what I assumed was a still photo of some Maga woman on the right. Eventually she blinked. Otherwise it could truly have been a still image of a mar-a-lago maga woman - complete with all the fillers, injections, procedures, etc Then she started talking. Until the blink - which took a while - I truly had not realized that was a live shot of a guest.
