17. This morning at grocery store

Young clerk said, like your earrings they match your shirt and I laughed because I am always trying to match my earrings to my clothes.

Today I had on my longest dangly ones with blue, orange and white tiny beads and long silver feathers. They sort of look Native American. And my shirt had thin stripes in those colors.

It's nice when young people make to effort to engage us in conversation.

My bookclub has some new young members and the book this month is one I chose called Give Her Credit about the history of women starting banks so they could help women get credit and loans. I feel good sharing this with young people they need to see what we have gone through so they understand why we are out there protesting still.
