Oddly, I was just watching Lord of the Rings. So called responsible Republicans remind me of Gollum. inside a few of them traces of Smedley may remain. but they have been warped by the power of The Don so long now they no longer recognize their former selves.

The stakes are so high though. I won't wait for any, other than the few who already have, to stand up now, but even if only a few broke free of the cult it could still make a difference.
