23. I have used the term without meaning anything denigrating about it. Republican Party, Democrat Party. It's a non-issue

turned into one by those taking offence without cause. If people now use "Democrat" Party derisively, it is likely because they know you are touchy about it and they are capitalizing upon the ease of offending you. It is more logical to call it "Democrat" party as the "Republican" Party is so called and far less intuitive to lengthen it to "Democratic".

There are better battles to be fought, with much higher stakes than this.
