Trump is the front man, but willingly so. In other words, he's not a clueless puppet.

He loves being in charge, the adulation, the power, and the prestige. He likes ordering around big things, trying to persecute his enemies, threatening war, peacocking in front of his military, etc.

He does not like the nitty-gritty of the job, though. He does not have the attention or the intelligence for the fine details of his plans. That stuff he likes to delegate to others. Elon at first, and now Miller and Vought.

But he's not being manipulated. He's egocentric, lazy and evil, but he willingly lets the shadowy, smarter but evil folks do his grunt work.

Don't let him off the hook. The buck has always stopped at him alone.
