What if, the leader of a country was exposed as having several deep dark secrets he was keeping hidden from the American voting public,
and what if, his party was helping to keep them hidden from the American voting public,
and what if, it was exposed that this party knew all about it and tried to cover it up,
and what if, the American voting public found out everyone, including their trusted news sources were complicit in those lies and actions...

Sounds absurd, doesn't it?
