Dick Cheney the Grinch of the GOP, the curmudgeon of conservatives, then something changed [View all]
For many years, Dick Cheney, President of Halliburton seemed to be the curmudgeon of conservatives, the Grinch of the GOP. I don’t know what changed for Dick Cheney’s stance toward his lesbian daughter to shift from estrangement to acceptance. Could several heart surgeries have something to do with it? I wonder if there was ever the point among GOP operatives where they exclaimed “Any more heart surgeries for Cheney and there is a real danger he’ll become a Democrat.”
Then in 2024 Dick Cheney issued the follow statement regarding the Presidential election:
