There is some hope that his daughter Liz seems willing to offer the country ways to atone for the sins of her father. As long as she motivates some Republicans to defeat Trumpism, she has some credible political capital to spend as well as considerable inherited Cheney wealth to help with campaign donations to opposition candidates. She was so vilified and threatened by MAGA as a RINO, that she might feel she has a score to settle.
Or...she might just buy a yacht and another mansion and disappear from politics.
