I think it will become clear that the pro-mandami/anti-cuomo vote beat the pro-cuomo/anti-mandami vote handily. Silwa just gave people who bought the propaganda about Mandami but who couldn't stomach Cuomo somewhere to go. If Silwa hadn't been in the race, many of his voters would have stayed home.
