President Donald Trump is calling for sweeping changes to the election system, hours after Democrats notched a series of victories in statewide elections.

“Pass Voter Reform, Voter ID, No Mail-In Ballots. Save our Supreme Court from “Packing,” No Two State addition, etc. TERMINATE THE FILIBUSTER!!!” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social on Tuesday night.

On Tuesday, Democrats won gubernatorial races in Virginia and New Jersey, and the New York City mayoral race.

California voters also approved Proposition 50, a measure championed by Governor Gavin Newsom that gives the party control over congressional redistricting—a move that could help Democrats reclaim as many as five Republican-held seats. The measure was designed to cancel out redistricting changes in Texas that likely favored Republicans.
