9. As a born and bred beach boy, I have to say this about the Keys.

I found it to be a lot like where I am from. (Outer Banks... I will never use that three letter thing because they are not some programming file, they are the Outer Banks... or 'the Banks' for short.)

I do recall the last time I was down there. We were walking down Whitehead St. and a battered pickup pulled up to the intersection at Angela. We stopped at the corner and the lady in the passenger side looked over at us and yelled out, "Fuck You!!" a few times before they drove off. We had never seen those people before in our lives. I understood that it was more a tourist thing, and being where I am from, I get it. The others were a bit shook, but I just laughed and waved at her as she flipped us off while speeding away.

I get it lady. But, as so many of my friends back home would say, "You owe them your livelihood. Do you really want to make them mad so that they don't come to your store/attraction? Money don't grow on trees around here!"

(We usually chose to keep our comments to ourselves, but making sure to share them with each other once the season was over. LOL!)
